What is Nutritonal Therapy?

Nutritional therapy is an alternative approach to supporting health.

Alternative to what I hear you say?
It's an alternative to a pill for an ill.

It is for those who would like to take ownership of their health.

It is for those who make a commitment to themselves to give up the things that make them ill and embrace the things that will lead to recovery

Nutritional Therapy holds you accountable for the changes.

How I Work

Sustainable
Packages are designed to deliver sustainable changes that last.

"On average, it takes more than 2 months before a new behavior becomes automatic — 66 days to be exact"
- Phillippa Lally
By spacing sessions over a number of weeks changes can be introduced in bite size chunks making them more digestable, rather than a one off consultation, which can leave you feeling overwhelmed.

Consultation
All packages start with the completion of an online health questionnaire and a 3 day food diary.
This is followed by a face to face, in Harpenden or video consultation for an hour. In this session, we dive deeper into your completed questionnaire.

Once the consultation is over I spend some time reviewing our discussion and identify the potential root causes of your problems
If your case is complex and it's not quite clear what the root cause is, we can discuss the option of functional testing to really get under the skin of what's going on.

Tailored Plan
After the consultation you receive a tailored nutrition plan, which will will take into account family life, work demands and lifestyle.

Every one of us has different needs whether it's eating right for depression or drinking more water, my mission is to create a plan that will deliver results, which means even though my role will be to challange you, I will also provide you with something that is achievable.

Weekly Calls
Rome was not built in a day and no one ever said bad habits are easy to break. So my packages are designed to support you on your journey.
On a weekly basis, we have a 30 minute catch up. This is our opportunity to discuss how you are getting on, any challenges, anything you are enjoying. We also develop and evolve your tailored plan making sure to keep on track for your roadmap to recovery.
